This project includes the initial sitework package for the West Tennessee River Basin Authority Floodplain and Waterway Improvement located in Madison County, Tennessee. Highlights of this project include clearing and grubbing of the approximate 500 acre site, mass grading of the site, approximately 3.8 miles of 10’ wide paved walking trails, 2 prefabricated, steel truss pedestrian bridges, 12 35’-0” long, precast concrete pedestrian bridges, approximately 3.6 miles of recreational waterways, excavation of the fishing lake, the fishing lake control structure, excavation of the retriever lake, excavation of the oxbow lake, excavation of the wetland lakes and the wetland lake weir structure. The 150’-0” long, prefabricated, steel truss pedestrian bridge spans the Middle Fork of the Forked Deer River. The 100’-0” long, prefabricated, steel truss pedestrian bridge spans a recreation waterway.
