The scope of this project includes widening and improving approximately .52 miles of S.R 14(3rd Street) between South Parkway and Mclemore Ave. in Memphis, TN.  Project highlights include, the removal of the bridge over the CN Railroad, which was originally constructed in 1932. This bridge will be replaced with a steel, plate girder bridge structure, which includes the erection of a 81.5 ton box girder at the center pier supporting two, 246’ spans.  The project also includes the construction of 4 retaining walls, new street lighting, and a new signal system at the North Parkway intersection.
