At the time of contract award, this TDOT project was the largest contract ever awarded by the State of Tennessee and is scheduled to be completed by January 28, 2020.  The project is 2.288 miles long and consists of 9 new bridges, widening the Olgiati bridge over the Tennessee River, and includes construction of 45 retaining walls.  In addition to the bridges and over 270,000 sf. of wall work, the project also includes reworking the drainage, concrete paving, curb and gutter, and sidewalks of six cross streets.
